Biomass Power Plant (PLTBm) 10 MW (Location : Kota Baru, Riau) PT Riau Green Energy is a company that is a part of Septa Group who focuses on reusing palm oil waste into electricity. The company was targeting to be able to produce biomass based on solid waste with an electric power of 10 MW. It takes more than 500 tons of raw material for solid waste per day or around 17 thousand tons per month to produce it. There are at least 3 palm oil mills in Rohul, Kampar and Siak owned by Septa Group, which supplies raw materials for this biomass. If calculated in the form of oil palm plantations, around 10,000 hectares of oil palm plantations are needed to reach all targets.
