Eko Putro Adijayanto is the Chief Executive Officer of the Non-Government Budget Investment Financing (PINA Center for Private Investment), a unit under the Ministry of National Development Planning National Developing Planning Agency (PPN/Bappenas) of the Republic of Indonesia. He also serves the role as Senior Advisor at Manulife Indonesia, where he held his previous role as Independent Commissioner in 2016.
Before his full-time role as the CEO of PINA Center for Private Investment, he was the Special Advisor to the Minister of PPN/Bappenas from 2016 until May 2019. Prior to that, Eko held several advisory roles at other government institutions; He was the Special Advisor to the Minister of Finance (2014-2016) and the Special Advisor to the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (2009-2011).
Upon obtaining his Bachelor of Economics degree from the University of Indonesia, he started his career in banking sector. Eko has an expertise in institutional communications where he worked in a multitude of banks and held key positions related to Corporate Secretary role; among others are at Bank Universal (1993-2002), Bank Permata (2003-2005) and lastly at Bank Mandiri (2005-2006) as Senior Vice President.
Due to his extended experience in Infrastructure and Project Financing, Eko was appointed President Commissioner and Independent Commissioner at PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero) from 2014-2016. He was also a Commissioner of Bank BNI (2010-2012) and Indonesia Infrastructure Finance (2014-2015).
