PLTA (Hydropower generation) Mentarang Induk, joint venture with Sarawak Energy. PLTA Mentarang Induk estimated Capacity is 1,375 MW installed, 925MW firm. The proposed transmission is to be 200km in Tanah Kuning industrial park. For the Pre-Feasibility Study and full FS is already completed in 2018. Furthermore, this project is guided by the International Hydropower Association’s Hydropower Sustainability Assessment Protocol (HSAP) from inception. While for the transmission planning, it is currently under study by Sarawak Energy-State Grid Corporation in collaboration with China. If local power need is fully met, export to Sabah is possible.
