The Power Plant is indicated as Independent Power Producer (IPP) conducting purchase agreement with PLN with 2 MW capacity. The IPP is included as base-load plant with sustain 24/7 electricity production capability. Plant feedstock will be supplied as follows. Municipal Solid Waste provided from waste disposal area in Bangli (1MW capacity) Bamboo-biomass provided by local community from social forestry (1MW capacity) The IPP will not only provide clena renewable energy from gasification technology, but also as strategic to manage MSW in the Bangli, Bali. Furthermore, the plant will provide direct economical benefit to local community from feedstock purchase.
